The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provides information on vaccinations, medication prophylaxis, and basic health precautions for travelers. The CDC travel website also lists important travel health alerts.

United States State Department

The U.S. State Department provides information about visas, travel alerts. You can also register with the U.S. Embassy in whichever country you are going by joining the STEP program (Smart Traveler's Enrollment Program).

It is very important to visit this website. NOTE: A country that is deemed unsafe for travel will likely NOT be approved for an international rotation.
