Champaign-Urbana
Urbana M4s that would like to go on an international away rotation have the opportunity to be in control of their international elective planning. Interested students should find the program in which they are interested, get approval from the head of the clerkship that your international experience will fall under. Once they have contacted the proper parties, student will obtain and complete all necessary paperwork. It is important that students also demonstrate readiness for international travel by providing proof of completion for required immunizations and obtain proper medical prophylaxis.

Contact information for the heads of the clerkships may change and so you can contact Dean James Hall (jimhall@illinois.edu) or Julie Wyant (wyant@illinois.edu) for this information. It is important to contact the head of the specialty that you are interested in rotating in internationally as they will grant approval for the rotation.

Dublin Exchange
Urbana students can also participate in an exchange program with a medical program in Dublin, Ireland. Information about this program can also be obtained from Julie Wyant.
